I went to a lecture on the Hindu religion and the talk was about the state of advancement and purification that would enable a human to be released from the necessity of reincarnation. The summary was that the Hindu are essentially seeking a way of staying dead- well staying in heaven is a Christian goal as well. In my book I talk about the goal of ascension, where we return to God/Source where we will be in a state of blissful unification. Maybe the name of my next book should be: how to we get to stay dead… possibly if we learn all we can, do our best, strive for excellence and seek our most personal of truths we can reach that goal.

is there a definitive answer?

Thanks for reading my post. There are so many spiritual traditions that all say unity with God/Source is possible later, after physical life, then there are a few traditions that teach that unification is almost possible here even within this focus. Once that unity is achieved we are free. Unity can be defined as the absence of the separation we perceive and participate in here, in other words we are all the same, everything we perceive is all the same energy, so once we are merged in God/Source energy we no longer perceive, we are not separate in any way.
The reason I am a medium is that – as a psychic- I can’t make up the details I see, which proves TO ME and to my clients I am with the deceased in real time…which only proves an afterlife.
I can’t prove any more than that. The rest of it may be a psychological tool for coping with this rather difficult experience here in life, or it may be the TRUTH. It is a choice we all have to make and live by. It still comes down to what happens on the inside of us and not on the outside.
