Once, in a meditation I was told that I was already walking the earth with the same preception as someone who was dead.  It took me a while to understand this.

I now know that reality is completely up to us to determine no matter what else is happening around us. This is exactly as it is when we are outside our physical body. We can no longer depend on what is outside of us to determine our reality. The deceased state is a completly self directed, self determined reality.

We may as well get this understanding while we are in life. There is so much more that I have learned from the deceased about life, I will be posting these for a few weeks to come.

Your information always changes my perception of the other side. You are very articulate about the subject of death and the other side.

My idea of karma, however, is that we have experienced this kind of dimension many times.

I have been awarded a chance to do an Atlas of Transgender Surgeries as the illustrator and co-editor. It only took Springer Publishers two days to accept my proposal. I think of all those transgender folks who ended their lives before these surgeries became available in the 1960′s. They say that 50% committed suicide. I bet they had some ‘pull’ in this project and were in the boardroom when my book idea came up!

Thank you for continuing your work. I am very interested in what you have to say. Peggy

Dear Peggy,
It means so much to me that someone as accomplished as yourself tells me I contribute to your thoughts.
I’m sure your compassion and genius will be evident in your illustrations, congratulations! May this new book be as fulfilling to you as your other work has been. You may feel the interest of ones in spirit when you are drawing.
The subject of your next book touches me personally. My step grand daughters body now more reflects the gender he feels himself to be; Madeleine is now Matt. It is a challenging journey for him.
My yoga teacher said that we have a light body that is the opposite of our apparent gender, that we are all both genders. I don’t know how I feel about that concept yet.
nonetheless-
Thanks again for your kind words about my September letter.
with gratitude,
Gretchen
