A friend of mine, here in Hood River, lent me your book to read since
I mentioned to her that I was more and more interested in
reincarnation and afterlife, in fact considered myself a believer.
Reading your description of the wonderful journeys and “interviews” I
could hardly put the book down, raced through it in a day and decided
I needed it for my own. The session you had with Joseph Campbell
totally captured me. I heard him twice in lecture at the University
of Washington – in early 1980 and then again in 1986 shortly before he
died. He sounded so much himself in your reporting. I also have been
a fan of C. G. Jung for many, many years and read many of his works
and consider him my long time helpmate. He’s quite a severe taskmaster.
I felt the sincerity, the extreme will to help and your honesty during
my reading of the whole book so strongly that I could fully believe
all you wrote. I have read books by other authors who reported lives-
in between or afterlives or past lives through the experience of their
hypnotized clients, but these always bored me in the end. In your
book I feel the immediacy of direct experience so strongly and in all
its beautiful promise. Thank you for your bravery in publishing all
in faithful detail.
There are so many items in your book that confirm many hunches and
dreams I have had. For all these reason, I feel, a book like this
needs to be owned to underline and write comments into the margins. I
wish I weren’t living on the other coast so we might meet and have a
nice meeting and interesting discussion.
