Energy can neither be created nor destroyed. The energy that makes up the personality shifts in the death transition.
This does not mean that the personality goes up, down or sideways. It just means that in energy there is a change.
The energy situation that a person finds themselves in after death seems to be a higher or better state because they are no longer encumbered by their physical body.
We cannot perceive the personality’s transition with our physical senses even if we are in the same room with them when they die. Our misconceptions about death are logical ones.
No matter what causes our death, no matter what our experience is of dying, death is a transition. Before death we are in the physical world with this particular density of energy. After death our personality continues on another plane of energy.
It is the transition that is death and not what comes after it. In our language and physical viewpoint, death and being dead seem to be the same thing but we are not in that transition forever.
